Snowspeeder SNES and TIE Fighter N64
No fans can put a smile on our faces the way Star Wars fans can. It’s true, only the geekiest of fans will put one and one together, in this case, it’s Kevin “CorellianCustoms” Glenn who created two custom console mods. The first one, a Rebel Snowspeeder SNES and the other, a TIE Fighter Nintendo 64.

Although Hall mostly used spray paint and masking tape to create the droid helmet, the end result came out pretty good.

Star Wars Han Solo in Carbonite Ice Cube Tray
The Han Solo Ice Cube Tray comes with room for six (6) small, 1.75″ Han Solos and one (1) large, 3.5″ Solo. We’re pretty sure that Boba Fett would be happy with just one smuggler on ice but seven would be a serious payday! The silicone on the mold is good down to -40F so don’t try using these on Hoth. They should be fine in your average household freezer though.
Product Specifications
Officially-Licensed Star Wars Collectible
Freezer safe down to -40F
7 Han Solos (6 small and 1 large)
Still only worth one bounty
Bounty Hunter Pro Tip: For crystal clear ice, boil the water twice before pouring it into the tray (allowing the water to cool between each boil). The boiling “deareates the water (i.e. forces dissolved air molecules out). This process also works on various life forms when preparing them for “long term storage”.

The Darth Vader CD Player
This is the CD player and AM/FM radio in the shape of Darth Vader’s helmet, adding a certain Imperial gravitas to even the lightest of tunes. The Sith Lord’s mask pivots upward, allowing CDs to be placed inside. The player’s integral speakers render clear sound without the slightest tremor in The Force, while convenient buttons and digital readout make it easier to operate than a TIE fighter. A telescopic antenna is located in the rear base, ideal for improving reception without marring the sinister aesthetic, and a program feature allows listeners to select the order of the songs on a CD. Includes a headphone jack and a line-in for amplifying audio from an external source, such as an MP3 player. Requires six C batteries. 14″ H x 11″ W x 11″ D. (6 lbs.)

Star Wars: The Old Republic supply artificially limited at launch
In an attempt to prevent its servers from collapsing under the weight of a million Force-hungry MMO-players, EA will artificially limit the number of copies — both digital and retail — of Star Wars: The Old Republic available at launch. An EA representative reportedly revealed the strategy at a Gamescom demo, but didn’t divulge any details such as how many copies would be available, or how long it would take for more copies to be released once the quota is met.
This is a good idea, I remember Star Trek Online’s launch being really shaky, and even WoW was too, due to all the noobs trying to jump on board all at once…

Search Your Kindle: Star Wars eBooks Now Available
For thirty years, people have been writing Star Wars books. That’s a long time (and a jumbled canon) but yesterday, finally, Star Wars entered the future. Lucasfilm and Random House announced that the entire library of Star Wars fiction titles (Del Rey/Bantam Spectra) will be available in eBook format, as will any future releases under the imprints. That’s 100+ books added to the 30 that were available already. It’s probably going to take you longer than 12 parsecs to read them.
